Kulmiye’s so-called Campaign Manifesto was full of lies, deceptions, false pledges and promises.. The delirious and confused government of Kulmiye headed by the unelected GANG OF FOUR is a deceptive, corrupt and dreamy government in serious illness with lots of rhetoric, cosmetic so-called development projects and no substance. The incumbent government lacks leadership and the elected ailing president is nowhere to be seen. Somaliland is sailing in a ship without obvious captain (president) and without a clear navigator (Vice president) and may sink soon if the SOS signal is not picked up urgently and rescued by the friends of Somaliland and the free world.
Arbitrary detention of innocent citizens and reminding them in prison for a long time is the norm of this Kulmiye police state. Journalists, chiefs, kings, former vice ministers, director generals are arrested without court warrants. On 15 November 2015 members of parliament with constitutional immunity were arrested, beaten, live bullets were shot at them which is a direct breach of articles 49 and 79 of Somaliland constitution. Those members of Parliament were leading a peaceful demonstration while exercising their constitutional rights granted by article 32 of the Somaliland Constitution.

Kulmiye portrayed themselves as the defenders of free speech and the protectors of the Free Press which they used to their advantage to lobby and campaign tirelessly to unseat the UDUB government headed by the father of Somaliland democratization process, former president Dahir Rayale Kahin.
But Silanyo’s government is doing just the opposite of everything that Kulmiye party has promised while they were in the opposition. Such as closing down media outlets as in the case of HAATUF and HUBAAL newspapers. Throwing the media law number 24/2007 through the window and down the drainage and instead using the ex-Somali governments’ criminal law of 1960′s signed by the first president of Somali Republic government, Adan Abdulle Osman to arrest journalists. Since Silanyo’s government came to power it has arrested 252 reporters or journalists that is an average of 63 reporters per year taken into custody. The number of journalists that Silanyo government arrested per year is 10 times or 15 times higher than the journalists arrested for the whole eight years that the former government of Dahir Riyale was on the helm.
Kulmiye’s Party was a coalition of convenience and within a year on the helm it fell apart, failed and disintegrated. The disgruntled Kulmiye hard line supporters were overlooked when Silanyo selected his first inexperienced cabinet members. He chose his ministers from members of diaspora and the illegal organization of Qaran instead of his Kulmiye core-supporters.
On Thursday, 27th November Waddani Party is going to welcome about thirty heavyweight politicians defecting from ruling Kulmiye Party and a big conference will be held at CROWN HOTEL.. Among these prominent politicians will be the former minsters who has been fired from their positions such as the Minster Of Information and National Guidance, Mr Boobe Yusuf Duale , the former Minister of Health, Dr Hussein Hog (XOOG), former Minister of Telecommunication and Postal Services, Mr Abdirizak Khalif, the former Minster of Internal Affairs and National Security, Mr Mohamed Nur Arale (Duur) who was also my colleague and a former elected Member of Parliament..Several directors and former Governor of both Maroodi-Jeeh (Hargeisa) and Togdheer (Burao) regions.
Somaliland public have turned their backs towards Kulmiye and Silanyo government who came to power on false, tribal ticket and unfair rigging of votes and by raising the hopes of voters promising unreasonable and exaggerated pledges. The failed military coup sponsored by Kulmiye regime against the elected parliament of Somaliland was the last nail on Silanyo’s government coffin. People from all walks of life and from every region of Somaliland are joining Waddani Party in their thousands on daily basis. It is the Rise Of WADDANI PARTY and down fall and total collapse of Kulmiye regime.
